The Sims - Body Hopper Challenge

Hey there! So recently I've been playing the Sims, Sims 4 to be precise.

We've all been there before, we've always wanted the chance or ability to switch the bodies of two Sims and have them experience that Freaky Friday experience!

A lot of people have made their own videos and Sims body swap stories on YouTube, however a body swap challenge doesn't exist!

There isn't a mod or an ingame method of doing it! So whilst playing the game and talking to a friend. I've decided to come up with a Body Swap Challenge to allow everyone to tag along and play.

The Body Hopper idea is the better option since the swapping of the two Sims doesn't make much sense and there was no real way of coming up with a method that made sense.

In order to do this challenge you will need to create a Sim that will be your Body Hopper or Body Swapper. (You can make a copy of your self if you want)

Name them and save the household, enter the game and live your life as that Sim. Go to school, get a job, make some friends and fall in love etc.

Now the most important thing you will need to do, is find someone you fancy. A body that looks great and you would love to steal or swap with!

Once you've identified a target, get to know them! Become friends and fall in love!

That's when you will want to swap bodies. Perhaps get to woohoo status, but having a kid should be best avoided! Once you feel time is right, it is time to swap bodies!

The Body Hopper Option

 In my opinion, this is the better option. The idea is to kill yourself and turn yourself into a spirit ideally without cheating and preferbly on the lot that you live on.

Types of death: Drowning, Electrocution, Hunger, Fire, Rocket Ship Crash Landing, Old Age, Overexertion, Cowplant, Embarrassment, Anger, and Hysteria.

Then have the target call out to the ghost and keep the ghost around. Once your Body Hopper has returned and has now cast aside their flesh, it is time to switch places between the two Sims.

Open manage world, edit the household and save a copy. Import the same copy into the house so now you have duplicate members from that home.

In the first name of the person you are trying to Hop into, add in your original name in brackets so it should look like this.

Copy of Sue Summers< The Vessel will now be named Sue (Eric) Summers

For Aspiration or Traits, you can only keep 1 from the vessel (see below) also I would recommend the use of Siri.

 The Hoppers New Aspiration and Traits. Siri chose 4, so we keep Sue's Genius Mind!

Since, it is a Trait we are keeping, we should lose one from Eric. Choose one to lose or have Siri pick a number between 1 to 3 (Siri chose 1)

So Sue (Eric) is now a nerdy genius as oppose to being a lazy nerd.

With the copy of Sue, redo her look to your own own taste (it's your body now), but do not edit her body! You are free to change her hairs and features and stuff. Once that is complete, go ahead and delete old Eric!

Now return to the game, activate the cheat console with ctrl shift c and activate testingcheats on and apply traits.equip_trait OldAge

Now the original Sue will become a Ghost and Eric is free to live on in her body! Sue will continue to haunt Eric and chances are they will be mortal enemies so go ahead and be mean to her!

But with a new body, Eric will repeat the process.

Bonus: Since you are killing yourself, do your best to create a cemetry of all your previous lives!

The challenge will end under the following circumstances.

1. You choose to give up and end your life with your current body and settle down.

2. Your Spirit is unable to return to this world.

3. If you die prematurely, without building a max relationship with a vessel, then you won't have a vessel and will die for good.

4. Do your best to remain human and avoid non-human bodies like a Vampire who are effectively immortal.
